Louisa Armbrust
Artist and User Experience Designer
Armbrust is a visual artist and user experience designer who has long been drawn to the gap between rules and their execution. Her work in the field of user experience has included a wide range of projects focusing primarily on the education and business intelligence sectors. As a visual artist she has been in residence at the Millay Colony for the Arts and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Center Swing Space and her work has been shown at museums and galleries across the US including the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, MI, the Hofstra Museum, Hempstead, NY, and the Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
